Apprentice Painter/Laborer

We are looking for a motivated apprentice/laborer to support our commercial and industrial painting crew. This role is ideal for someone dependable, hardworking, and ready to learn a skilled trade. You’ll assist with preparation, cleanup, material handling, and basic painting tasks while gaining hands-on experience on active job sites with varying project scopes.

Pay range: $15 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist with prep work including masking, taping, caulking, patching, and sanding

  • Support painters by setting up and organizing materials, tools, and equipment

  • Perform general labor duties such as loading/unloading supplies and keeping job sites clean

  • Handle basic painting tasks under supervision (rolling, brushing, minor touch-ups)

  • Follow instructions from lead painters and supervisors

  • Operate ladders and basic equipment safely

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

  • Work efficiently to help the crew meet project timelines

  • Follow all PPE requirements and job-site safety policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous labor or construction experience

  • Familiarity with painting tools and equipment

  • Basic understanding of prep work or painting tasks

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, daytime hours, occasional overtime based on project needs.

  • Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and on active construction sites

  • Consistent, punctual attendance and reliable transportation
